Writing the tweet file

Tweet file is just a text file with each line of it being a separate tweet. You could use the following macros can be used in your tweet files:

  • %BOT% - Used to insert the account that is currently being used.
  • {HellO|Hey|Hi|...} - Using a macro like this allows you to rotate various words in each tweet, making each one more unique.
  • %FILE:FILENAME.txt% - This works the same as the above macro in the sense that it rotates the word in each tweet, the difference here being that it pulls the options from a file one at a time. The "FILENAME.txt" can be the name of any file located in the macro folder of the application.
  • ^ - Anywhere in your messages you put a ^, it will be replaced by a single random character.
  • %*% - Same idea as the above macro, but using numbers instead of characters.
  • %DAY% - Used to insert the current day (Monday...)
  • %DATE% - Similar to the above, used to insert the current date.
  • %TIME% - Used to insert the time of the tweet into the tweet itself.
  • %RSS:FEEDURL,Option% - Tweets from the RSS feed at FEEDURL, Option can be 1 or 2, if it is 1 the tweet only uses RSS title, if it is 2 the URL of the RSS item is also shortened and tweeted.
